The 2022 edition of Bring Your Own Cup Day will be held Aug. 27 at participating 7-Eleven, Stripes and Speedway locations, the company said in a news release.
Bring Your Own Cup Day participants were last able to get Slurpees poured into pre-owned cups at 7-Eleven locations in Canada in May 2022, and the day was extended into a two-day event.
As the name of the day implies, you go to a participating 7-Eleven, between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., and receive a free, 12-ounce Slurpee (while supplies last). Get there early since everyone in the know will undoubtedly want a free Slurpee, too.
Purchasers can refill for free with any size Slurpee drink, Big Gulp drink, fountain drink or coffee. At checkout, the 7-Eleven employee will scan the cup owner's 7Rewards barcode in the app.
Cups and containers must be clean, watertight (aka leak proof), and must sit upright within the 10-inch diameter hole in the in-store display. If it doesn't fit in the display, it won't fit under the Slurpee dispenser.
What cups can I Use? Any personal reusable cup. Cup must be clean. Starbucks-provided "for here" ceramic mugs or glassware do not qualify.

The convenience-store retailer is encouraging 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards loyalty members to grab their cookie jars, fish bowls or any other creative container and fill it with their favorite Slurpee drink flavor or flavors for $1.99 at participating 7-Eleven, Stripes and Speedway locations.
